Library program
Each class has 1 library lesson per week. During this time the students borrow and return books for the week. The library lessons are focussed on library skills, research skills, inquiry learning, literature study in the form of author study, book raps and book trailers and understanding of how the library works.

Borrowing
Borrowing occurs every week as part of the lesson when each student visits the library. Students require a library bag in order to borrow books. Don't forget to bring your library bag along so that you can enjoy borrowing. Happy reading.
Library events
Book Week 2018
Book week will be celebrated during Term 3, from Monday 27 August to Friday 31 August. The theme for 2018 is 'find your treasure'. We will be celebrating Book Week by having a book character parade.
Scholastic Book Fair 2018
The Scholastic Book Fair will be at to our school during Term 4 this year. A wide variety of exciting books and stationery will be available for sale on those days. Information will be sent home closer to the time.
