Stage 3 Camp

Stage 3 visited Canberra this year! They explored science and technology at Questacon, were respectful of our war heroes at the Australian War Memorial, visited Parliament House, enjoyed playing sports at the AIS and had a day of fun in the snow!

Easter Hat Parade

Students enjoyed designing and making amazing Easter Hats and proudly paraded them for family and friends.

Our local preschools also attended and joined the fun.

Muffins with Mums

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with our mums and grandparents.

It was a great opportunity to say thank you for all your support!

Blacktown Festival of Performing Arts

Lynwood Park Choir, Dance and Band students performed at the Blacktown Festival of Performing Arts in August.

They also performed at Westpoint Blacktown Education Week and assemblies throughout the year.

Festival of Instrumental Music

Our recorder students joined over 1000 students at the Opera House in Sydney for this amazing concert. They had to opportunity to perform with world class musicians!

Sports Stars

We have many sports stars at Lynwood Park. Annabelle from Year 6 has represented the school at Zone level in just about every sport including Cross Country, Swimming, Soccer and Athletics. She has recently qualified for State Athletics in Discus!

K-2 Excursion

Kindy, Year 1 & 2 had quite an adventure at the Australian Museum in Sydney. They learned all about animals, fossils, dinosaurs and insects. So many memories.

P & C Food Fight

Our P & C ran a successful Food Fight (colour run) in Term 1 this year. Students, staff and the community all joined the fun and even slimed a few of the teachers and the Principal!

The school raised over $3000 for our charity partner Food Bank.

Book Character Parade

Students and staff had the best time dressing up as their favourite characters for our Book Parade.

There were so many creative and original ideas, everyone celebrated our love of reading and using imagination.

Donuts with Dads

We enjoyed yummy donuts with our Dads and grandparents to celebrate Father's Day. Dads got right into the fun playing giant board games with their kids.
